I can be the first to admit that even though I like summer, there is nothing that beats the colorful beauty that is fall and autumn. Despite all the cute summer dresses I own, I prefer a knitted skirt and a knitted sweater, my brown fiddler hat and a pair of boots. I feel like I am at my best during September and October. I get more creative, and I am less self critical to what I create or to myself in general. As an example I can tell you that I "wrote" the storyline of a children's novel half asleep this morning. Most of my stories never reach paper - but it is nice to see that my imagination still works.
My love for this season is huge, and I have recently ordered a bunch of things to make our home (and my body) feel all cosy and snuggled up for autumn and the upcoming winter. I kept telling myself that I deserve to get it, as I spend most of my time at home anyway. "Susanne, you will need more slippers and pajamas than you need pretty formal dresses. You need tea more than you need heels, and you definitely need anything you can find that has a fox face on it. Did you see that this bedding has a fox in addition to all these leaves on it? You need it. Get it - or you will regret it!" - my brain.
Well, I do not regret it so far. And I have about 99 tabs active on my browser to keep an eye on the tracking. I might be and sound lame and boring, but I plan to be the most comfortable hermit that ever lived when winter comes. I would call that #goals. But while I wait I intend to enjoy the sunny autumn days and make sure I take enough pictures to make it last forever.
Outfit details: Sweater from Forever21, knitted skirt from BIK BOK, boots from Bianco, bag from Accessorize and my favorite hat from Brixton.
